“Shun those studies in which the work that results dies with the worker.” - Leonardo da Vinci AnswersHow does one put an end to such brutal hatred? What can be done to end a war against people who enjoy fighting to the bitter end? How do I defeat an opponent who would gladly give their life in order to take my own? How do I compete with seventy-two virgins? What can I do to convince a suicidal opponent that their life is not worth losing for their cause? What can be said to show them that their belief in a better way of life can only be accomplished by not taking their life? Why can’t they understand that the way of life I wish for them is one where they get to live? Why do they consider me an enemy when I don’t want them to die? Why would they even want to die in an attempt to take my life? If I mean them no harm, shouldn’t I be considered a friend and not an enemy? How do I deliver a clue to the fact that killing civilians in an attempt to spread culture cultivates not a civilization, but rather conveys a villain version? Why won’t they understand that the world is more threatened by them than they are by the world? Why … why won’t they just give peace a chance? If anyone has the answers, don’t tell me, tell them.
“A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it.” - Oscar Wilde
Civil War“What’s So Civil About War Anyway?” - Axil Rose Why do I feel as if I am a ghost in the world of the living when there are those that claim to be alive but then deny the process that enables them so? Whatever happened to being grateful for being alive? How can you even appreciate what you have when you want to leave everything behind? What is there to value when you can’t value that which is most important in life, life itself? If you are glad to be alive for no other reason than out of excitement to take life, then you have never really enjoyed life. Without the pleasure of life, one is more apt to leave it. Even more so is the fact that those that are uncomfortable in life will willingly allow others to suffer, so that a level of delectation is endured. Tormenting innocents only encumbers others to do onto others as they have been done onto themselves. This vivid cycle shows a vile color, darkness. Yet, certain sects claim that in this darkness is harnessed the neon glow of eventual enlightenment. For they say that the light at the end of the tunnel decides our doings as either right or wrong. I say, however, how does stepping down into darkness allow light to leak through? Heaven knows nothing other than those that are good and grants access to none other than those who deserve it. Everyone assumes they are worthy of a journey to the stars. Sadly, no one acknowledges the know-how of already having your heaven nearby. If all is dark, and one seeks the sanctuary of light, look up! The heavens are always a part of us. Alone one is not when viewing the stars cause all see the same set. That’s why we should “thank our lucky stars” for being lucky enough to view our stars. I see an astounding amount of beauty in the heavens from here on earth. That is why I wish not to leave this world. And yet, so many people wish to leave this world. They feel mother earth would be a better place if they were to remove life from it. So they take their life along with the lives of people who do not wish to leave this world. Then how is the world a better place if the people who appreciate living on it are no longer there? For many, their time on earth is heaven, and you would deny so many people their heaven so you, a single individual, could reach your heaven. How does the mass killing of so many innocent civilians define you as a good person and destine your heavenly access? Is it OK for you to kill because they are different? What difference could one have that is so intolerable that you would give your own life in order to take theirs? Just as you do, they too wish to be in their heaven. So is that what allows for such bloodshed, a difference in opinion as to where there should be such a heavenly place of peace? Does a different heaven mean different rules to abide by for entrance? For many, including myself, we enter heaven upon birth. Yet, death is what you crave because it is the easiest way to enter heaven. If taking life is the best thing you can do in life, then perhaps your wife and children should also join the cause and give up their lives. If entry into heaven is so spectacular and important, then why should your children waste their lives being alive? But if your kids are not alive, then whose kids are going to spread your way of life? If your way of life is centered around death, then you have no way of life; you have a way of death. If every single person of your faith were to immediately take the lives of innocent people along with their own, then your beliefs will therefore be eradicated from this earth. Your way of life will be gone because you have all lost your lives. Your kind will no longer be on earth, leaving it to the people who wish to enjoy it without worry of war. How is the life process supposed to flourish if you take your own life, as well as the lives of others? If this was the life process, then there would ultimately be no life. And yet, your religion will condone the practice of death, as well as quite possibly condemn the follower to death. Nearly all religions have created holy wars; and yet, war is hell. So your fate has placed you in hell on earth. Is that why you seek heaven, so that you may leave your own personal hell? Why not try to make your living situation better for your friends and family by using your life to accomplish such goals? No good can come from the fact that you are no longer there to provide for anyone. Wouldn’t your own kind be more keen to you creating a more comfortable living situation for them other than blowing yourself up for them? Wouldn’t it also be safe to assume that your loved ones would not want you to die? If you would not want your son to die, why would you think your son would want you to die? In times of great pain and suffering, wouldn’t it be more comfortable for a son to have his father near to raise him? If you are your son’s role model, then he will simply attach a bomb to his chest and take his life as well when he is able to do so. Isn’t the whole point of taking your life so that your son can enjoy his life? So then isn’t it counterproductive when your son wishes to do the same thing as yourself? Not to mention the fact that no son’s life is better when there is no father present to help raise him. And what happens to your family name once your family is no longer there to carry your bloodline? You fade from existence; all because you believed the exact opposite of existing was the best way to exist. Taking the blood of innocent people who never wished to take your blood doesn’t preserve lives; it only enables more to be taken in the long run. Enemies who once wished you no harm are now more apt to harm you, simply because you could kill them while they are doing nothing other than living. Perhaps you would better understand this if you actually tried living for once instead of trying to die. Life is a wonderful thing, and yet you know nothing of the sort because you are hell-bent on getting to heaven. Heaven is a natural reward for what is done while trying to stay alive. It is not something to spend your short-lived life trying to attain because then you have nothing to show for your life other than your own death. Not impressive to say the least. Granted, god has given you the ability to take life, but he has also granted you the ability to create life. When you bring a being into this world, does it not create great sorrow when you lose that life? So if god created all that we see, then obviously any life form is a creation of this great god. Then by comparison, just as you feel great pain, god would also grieve when you take life away from that which he created. After all, god did not create your war; you created a war in your god’s name. So now you are a nameless enemy fighting for your god because you will have no one left to carry on your name and bloodline. And for what, because they are different? How different could they be if we are all born under the same greater god and bleed the same blood? Even your enemy’s blood can be used to save your life on the field of battle if you begin to lose too much blood. But then again, if you are mortally wounded on the field of battle, why would you even try to save your life? If your god has willed you to lay where you are, and it is your heaven you so anxiously seek, why bother being bandaged? Everyone’s first instinct upon being injured is to preserve their life. It is human instinct. So then why would you deny the most basic instinct in man and willfully forgo your own life? If your brother was struck in combat, would you throw your arms up into the air because you are happy for him? No, you would try to save his life no matter what the cost as he squirms on the floor in pain. If your brother losing his life is supposed to be so “right,” then why does it feel so wrong in your heart? Why would you morn his loss when you should really be celebrating with a going away party for him instead? Those tears you shed for such an occasion are not tears of joy, but rather they are tears of sorrow. Tears tell all, and right now they are telling you that the suffering you seek is certainly wrong. Just as if you were to take lives in a suicide attack, your friends and family would cry for you. But then you would also have the hundreds of friends and family members crying for those you maimed or murdered in your own suicidal attack. With so many tears being shed on both sides of this conflict, you are the only one who is happy. Of course this is despite the fact that you are dead. The overall equation does not equal out when one man may be happy but dead, while the rest are crying for the fact that they wish for rejuvenation in their fallen, including your own life as well. If the circle of life is to always be adhered to correctly, then the needs of the many must come before the needs of the few. One man wanting death does not condone the loss of so many lives who want to be alive. Equilibrium is unattainable at this rate. If your way of life was really the way to go, then more would be going for you in life. But nothing is going right in life since you are so willing to leave it. If things were going good for you and your neighborhood, the violence would be over; but it’s not, thirteen hundred years of bloodshed and violence have ravaged your land. Any ideas as to why? Nothing has changed in your strategy. Your failure is because you want war, not peace. As backwardly ironic as it may be, the purpose of war is to attain peace. That’s why there is no victory in warfare that establishes attacks which create more enemies than one once had. All your own death does is create additional enemies. What were civilians are now soldiers against your rampage. If there is a father that lost his family in your attack, you had a man that previously meant you no harm who now wishes to fight against your ferocity. And for good reason I might add, because he does not want other fathers to feel the same pain still pulsating in his heart. So let’s say your attack took thirty families away from their respective father/husband. Your “side” will have lost one soldier, while the “other side” will have gained thirty combatants or more. So personally, I’m sorry for you guys but happy for us because the numbers are stacked somewhat staggeringly high against you. The more you attempt to take the lives of others, the more others you have to go against. Whether you like it or not, there are a lot of other cultures out there on this planet, and you really don’t have a choice in the matter of whether or not you can share it. Because after all, the rest of the world doesn’t have to share it with you, but they do anyway because it is the right thing to do. The culture that celebrates life is the one that thrives at it. But it is the society that respects another society that can accomplish anything. You cannot accomplish anything aside from death since that is all which you work for. And since that is all you have to offer, it is the world which does not require you. But the world does not try to exterminate you because we believe in battle without bloodshed. Why else would we have tolerated so many years of unbearable hatred? While the world isn’t out to get you, you are out to get the world. Your own actions have left you with nothing other than your own crumbling kind. Your movement has not gotten stronger over time; it has weakened, as is evident by the lessening numbers of your once plentiful peoples. Your numbers have divided and destroyed each other. There is no one else to blame for your hatred aside from yourself, because you hate people for doing the only thing that they can, living. If this is such a wise way to lead a society, why has it been laid to waste? Do you really wonder why you see rubble outside your window? Well, have you ever tried to do anything other than create rubble? Like little children, your warriors run rampant with no sense of direction other than down. Perhaps your supposed paradise would persist here on earth had you actually listened to your lord. You have twisted the truth which you were taught. Nowhere does Muhammad state that there should be bloodshed between your fellow men; and yet, you follow in such a fashion as to tether a paradise. You cannot use anger to find peace, as is factual from the evidence that you have yet to find an ounce of peace since your unjust violence began. The most probable way for peace is to preach peace. In fact, that’s exactly what was in existence once your prophet preached peace. The same expression you use today is what ended the peace you were preached to about. Peace alone will not negate peace; there must be anger and hatred. And in all Mohammed’s wisdom and knowledge, he forbids the use of such evil elements because he saw where they would lead humanity. But yet, an evil wave of anger took over his command because his people lost the light of love. This domino effect will eventually come to take all, unless it is halted somewhere along the way. Why not step out against what wrongs your ways. Be the one to cease the fighting and reestablish the light of love! Don’t be another brick in the wall when you can tear down that which separates you from the rest of the freedom-filled world. If you’re willing to pick up a bomb and attach it to your chest, why not pick up a textbook and see if buildings begin to rise instead of fall. When the natural order of things is ignored, good gives way to what is wrong with the neglect of such simple things as clear water and an abundance of edibles. Also, once you start to show interest in providing for yourselves, others will be more apt to help you as well. Earthly and heavenly alike. But hey, don’t take my word for it when you can just as easily see what right from wrong would be when you view the words of Muhammad himself. In fact, if you really believe your Jihad is the best way to better your life, then I challenge you to take the following quotes of Muhammad and rearrange them so that it actually looks like he condones the killing of man. The acquisition of knowledge is a duty incumbent on every Muslim, male and female. Acquire knowledge. It enables its possessor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven; it is our friend in the desert, our society in solitude, our compassion when friendless; it guides us to happiness; it sustains us in misery; it is an ornament among friends and an armor against enemies. Who are the learned? Those who practice what they know. God has not created anything better than reason. Understanding is by it, and God’s wrath is caused by disregard of it. Whoever is kind to his creatures, god is kind to him. All god’s creatures are his family; and he is the most beloved of god who does the most good to god’s creatures. A man’s first charity should be to his own family. Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. Allah changeth not the condition of a folk until they change that which is in their hearts. Actions will be judged according to intentions. To do unto all men as you would wish to have done unto you, and to reject for others what you would reject for yourself God is gentle and loves gentleness. This life is but tillage for the next; do good [here] that you may reap there. |
